Packer/Shipper

Job Overview The Contenti Company is seeking a shipper familiar with UPS WorldShip. The position involves picking and packing shipments from an inventory of 11,000 SKUs. Shipments range from small parcels to pallet-loads of materials. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. Duties Prompt fulfillment of all customer orders. Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels. Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries. Safely load all shipments and verify counts for accuracy. Verify and record outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy of quantity, destination, and method of shipment. Skills Familiarity with UPS WorldShip is essential. Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, order picking & packing, and warehouse distribution processes. Fluency in English. Ability to operate electric and manual pallet jacks. Ability to prepare labels and bills of lading. Familiarity with international shipping. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry). Previous shipping experience required. Basic computer skills

Pay:

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
