The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our distribution center. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Responsibilities Accurately pack products for shipment according to company standards and specifications. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders. Operate material handling equipment such as cherry pickers and reach trucks safely and efficiently. Perform order picking tasks, ensuring that the correct items are selected for shipping. Load and unload products from trucks and containers, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Conduct quality checks on packed items to ensure accuracy and prevent shipping errors. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing all duties. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse management or materials handling is preferred. Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is an asset. Ability to operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced work setting.
