Sample Clerk-Leader

Job description: Coronado Stone Products - Coronado Stone Products has been the leader and pioneer in manufactured stone for over 60 years. Coronado manufactures and distributes high-quality stone products at factories conveniently located across the US. In addition, Coronado supplies over 400 distributors and dealers throughout the United States. Coronado is looking to hire a Sample Clerk/Leader in a manufacturing environment. Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead, train, and mentor employees, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and teamwork. Assist in preparing and organizing stone samples for display, client presentations, and project proposals. Process and prepare samples to be shipped to Reps or customers. Operate specialized machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Assist in preparing and organizing stone samples for display, client presentations, and project proposals. Collaborate with team members to manage heavy lifting and transportation of materials Adhere to safety protocols when operating forklifts and handling materials Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy and visual defects Maintain and update databases, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards Coordinate with lab department team to ensure timely delivery of materials and data Required to cut samples as needed. Strip molds as needed. Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments. Adhere to safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment at all times Clean and maintain work area and equipment to ensure a safe and organized workspace.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy stone molds Strong attention to detail and ability to work precisely to create high-quality finished products Ability to work independently or as part of a team Self-motivated Experience using hand and power tools to shape and cut stone Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Ability to read formulas
