Loading/unloading, stacking goods to assigned places. Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment. Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies to the Warehouse Manager. Duties and Responsibilities:
Check with the supervisor for job orders. At the beginning of each shift, inspect the powered industrial truck. Check for damage or problems and report them to your supervisor. Document inspection on the pre-operation inspection sheet. Lock out / tag out unsafe or inoperable equipment. Load, unload, and place product in the proper storage bay, stacked straight and neat. Verify counts of incoming product, make necessary adjustments on paperwork, and initial any changes. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are free of damage and document or report immediately to the supervisor. Sign and date the paperwork when the load is finished. Accurately input information as trained with the scanner, documenting all functions performed. Ship an accurate number of pieces per load worksheet. Assist with inventory counts and proper stock rotation. Change propane tanks properly and safely, and change, charge, and water batteries as needed. Use radio equipment for communication in a respectable manner. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with supervision. Ability to count accurately. Knowledge of WMS system and KOS system. Knowledge of Industrial Truck Operational Procedures, including the ability to handle product without damaging it and the ability to use clamps, forks, and other attachments as needed. Ability to stoop, push, pull, bend, reach, and lift up to 85lbs for 1st shift and 40lbs for 2nd shift. Tiers in place for forklift operators at specific sites. Details regarding tiers and qualifications for each are shared at the site level. Duties associated with housekeeping (throw away trash and sweep floors) and follow and maintain 5S standards. Comply with OSHA standards and use safety equipment as required (eye and ear protection, back supports, and fall protection). For food-grade warehouses, follow all food safety standards set forth in the facility and actively participate in the food safety culture. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Additional Qualifications and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must obtain Industrial Truck Certification through in-house training. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested by the supervisor. PPE as required by each facility - refer to handbook for specific requirements. Working Conditions:
Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises in a warehouse environment. Pay:
