>2nd week move to 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 6:00PM•2:30AM More about Us and the Job•>> Redstone Foods, Inc. is hiring for our 2nd shift Puller/Packer team. Our Puller/Packer employees are the heart of our candy and soda distribution operations. S/He shops a retail store's order from a pick-list sheet across our 160,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned warehouse . Our ideal candidate will have a good eye for detail, the drive to meet his/her lines per hour goals and the ambition to learn a variety of warehouse skills. This position may include but is not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
Pull customer orders by following printed customer pick lists Locate and pull items by using the most efficient pathway in the warehouse Transport pulled items via a shopping cart or pallet jack to checking station to verify order accuracy Package customer orders by following proper protocols Participate in inventory cycle counts Keep warehouse organized and clean to maintain safety and health regulations Qualifications High school diploma or GED Must be able to read, write and speak in English Experience working in a warehouse Positive can-do attitude Ability to lift 50 lbs, push carts over 60 lbs, Ability to safely ascend and descend ladders Must be able to operate a pallet jack and organize pallets Must be able to physically stand, reach, pull, bend, stoop and kneel for long periods of time, including walking 15K steps in a shift.
