Full Job Description About Its Actually Co:
We are a growing, Dallas-based company dedicated to producing the highest quality, naturally-sourced bone broths. We are looking for a reliable and meticulous Production and Packaging Associate to join our small, committed team. The hourly range for this position is $15.00. This position is based in Dallas, TX. Its Actually Co. is looking for a part-time Production and Packaging Associate to assist in the production of bone broths and packaging for distribution in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Schedule and Benefits:
Part-Time (Expected 20-25 hours per week). Specific shift times to be discussed during the interview.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for setup of jarring environment, including preparation of lids, jars, and workstation Accurately and consistently fill and seal jars, maintaining a high level of precision during filling to ensure consistent product weight and volume. Responsible for setting up and operating pressure canner with established procedures and guidelines, ensuring that the products are safe and meet food safety specifications, and adhering strictly to all
HACCP/FDA
guidelines for thermal processing and canning. Communicate quality issues of raw product or finished goods to the appropriate personnel Responsible for clean-up, general pressure canner upkeep and maintenance, and executing and logging daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation procedures (SSOPs) for all production equipment. Follow and complete the daily production schedule, including changes that may occur during the course of the day Responsible to perform the following product quality checks: glass integrity check, produce quality check, seal integrity check Labeling sealed jars and packaging for distribution per outstanding orders Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
Be capable of meeting all required testing frequencies (detailed, fast-paced work) Be capable of operating measuring instruments, such as the weight scale and thermometer Ability to accurately complete production logs and quality control documentation Food industry experience Current Food Handler's Permit/License or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire Self-motivated individual who requires minimal supervision and direction Strong communication and team collaboration skills to effectively work with other team members Ability to uphold safety, food safety, production quality and freshness standards Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be at least 18 years old Must be eligible to work in the US Must satisfactorily complete a background check and drug screen upon offer Must be able to work overtime and holidays as required Must be able to bend and lift up to 60 pounds repetitively, with or without accommodation.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a commercial kitchen environment.
Additional Information:
Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time, with or without accommodation. Exposure to temperatures that range from sub-freezing (coolers, freezers, etc.) to boiling (broth cookers and pressure) with or without accommodation Must be able to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach above and below shoulders, repetitive use of hands, with or without accommodation.

$15.00 per hour
