(SCBT) has an immediate opening for a Shipping Associate - Picker/Packer to join its team. This position assists in the daily processing, picking, packaging and shipping of domestic orders. SCBT maintains a climate controlled warehouse (heated/cooled) making for a comfortable work environment year round. SCBT's products are generally small and lightweight commodities that are easily handled and processed for shipment. SCBT is a world leader in the development of products for the biomedical research market. For the past thirty years, SCBT has specialized in the development of research antibodies, biochemicals, labware and it has more recently expanded into animal health care products.

Required Skills:

Ability to ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders by picking the correct product(s) from inventory. Ability to package and prepare daily orders for shipment. Ability to complete the necessary shipping documents, and ensures that the appropriate paperwork accompanies all orders. Capacity to maintain an accurate inventory. Ability to work in a team environment, but also capable of working independently.

Desired Skills:

Some prior warehouse work experience highly preferred. Capable of pushing, lifting, and carrying 35 pounds. Available for afternoon/evening shifts (up to 7:00 PM) and weekend work.

Education/Experience:

AA/AS is preferred, but not required.
