Packer/Crater - 1st shift

1st shift, M-F 7am-3:30pm

Pay:

$16.50 per hour

Location:

Onsite, Anchor Fabrication, Denton, TX Anchor Fabrication, LLC, a precision metal fabrication company is seeking a 1st shift Packer/Crater. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and work under general supervision, supports production, shipping, and receiving by packing and crating product in accordance with customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Determine parts to be shipped by reviewing order sheets. Pull product to be shipped and stage in packing area. Print out and issue truck down builds to production Team to fulfill truck down orders. Inventory, count and verify part numbers to be shipped and verify the accuracy against the associated move tag. Review move tags in order to determine proper size skid to build for the part being shipped. Build crating and or boxes when necessary to fit shipping requirements Print tags and affix them to correct parts and boxes. Create BOL's and ASN's. Schedule shipments with shipping company. Update customer website when necessary. Place parts on skid and secure in accordance with customers' requirements. Operate a variety of powered industrial trucks (tow motor). Meet Housekeeping and 5S Standards Complete any necessary documentation Help out in other areas where needed Has the Authority and Responsibility to report non-conforming product Mechanically adept Attention to detail Able to prioritize and work under schedule demands Good communication skills Computer literate Able to read all precision measuring instruments Ability to read and interpret specifications

Education:

High School or Equivalent Technical School Experience a plus
