Shipping Associate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves generating manifests, dispatching orders, and preparing products for distribution. You will interpret warehouse documents, organize merchandise, and assist in assembling customer orders under the guidance of the Operations Manager. Responsibilities Generate manifest to dispatch and confirm customer and stock orders. Interpret various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to designated areas. Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a pre-determined sequence. Prepare products for distribution within facilities. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or conveyors for packing or shipping. Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within established guidelines. Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. Create and enter records for the manifest on warehouse computer systems. Essential Skills Fluent in
English:
read, write, and speak. Understanding of warehouse operations and material handling. Additional Skills & Qualifications 0 - 6 months of warehouse experience. Work Environment The work environment is a fast-paced warehouse with narrow aisles, where forklifts and hand carts navigate safely. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $13.00 - $13.00/hr.
