Job Description

A Window Packer's duties consist of repacking aircraft window hatches and doors on aircraft cabin simulators while Flight Attendants are being evaluated in training. The work environment is subject to frequent temperature changes and involves variable hours and working conditions. Duty may be scheduled for a minimum of three hours or up to eight hours per day; however, overtime is not permitted. Job Responsibilities Record product/item information on specified forms, jobs, and records. Load/pack materials and products into package boxes/containers. Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools. Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools. Transport packages between work stations. Follow all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines, report all hazards and violations to appropriate supervisor. Skills/Qualifications Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Team player and detail oriented. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions. Education/Experience High school diploma or GED required.
