Job Description

Job description: We are now hiring an Order Picker for a food distribution warehouse in the southeast side of Houston. The main Warehouse Associate duties revolve around placing incoming orders on shelves and picking merchandise according to specific customer requirements. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Some physical strength is required, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
Graveyard Shift:
Monday
  • 11pm
  • 7 am Tuesday & Thursday
  • 1 am
  • 9 am Wednesday
  • 11pm
  • 7 am Friday
  • 1 am
  • 9 am Pay rate: $15.
00 Responsibilities Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards Order picking according to customer specifications Load and unload product to be received and shipped Organize inventory in the warehouse using forklifts General warehouse duties, wrap orders and place them on trucks for delivery Working in the dry area and freezerOperate an electric pallet jack Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow company safety procedures and warehouse guidelinesBilingual a plus (communication with Spanish speaking clients) This is a temp to hire position with opportunity for long-term employment based on performance and attendance.
