Manufacturing Packer Key Responsibilities Packing & Inspection:
Assemble boxes and pack 3lb or 5lb bags of rice (16-24 qty) while ensuring no holes or tears in packaging.
Machine Operation:
Push packed cases into the case taper machine and replace tape.
Safety & Sanitation:
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain a clean workstation.
Palletizing:
Stack, arrange, and shrink-wrap cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
Documentation:
Complete daily production paperwork accurately. Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and walking for long periods. Basic English/Spanish skills to follow instructions. Previous production plant experience is a plus.
Job Details & Benefits Pay:
$13 - $14 per hour.
Role:
Full-time, often including 2nd shift (e.g., 6:00 pm to 6:30 am). 1 year of manufacturing, packing in production.
