Job Description
Position Summary-LOCATED in SCHERTZ We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packager / Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for packaging products according to quality standards, preparing materials for shipment, inspecting finished goods, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced production setting and is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Package products according to customer and company specifications Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and proper labeling Assemble packaging materials, boxes, reels, bags, and other components as needed Prepare completed orders for shipping and distribution Operate basic production and packaging equipment Maintain accurate production and packaging records Follow all quality control procedures and work instructions Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Assist with inventory counts and material handling as needed Support other production departments during peak workloads Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or production experience preferred Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic math and counting skills Reliable attendance and punctuality required Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds Repetitive use of hands and arms Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout the shift Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Preferred Skills Packaging or assembly experience Experience working in electronics, medical device, or manufacturing environments Familiarity with quality inspection procedures Experience operating production equipment Monday-Friday 8am-5pm $15 #vipstaffing #zrsch
