PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

As a VDM Processor, this position is primarily responsible for inspecting nonconforming door skins to determine the cause and point of origin, and accurately recording findings for vendor inspection.

REPORTS TO

Warehouse Supervisor DUTIES Inspect nonconforming door skins Determine cause of defects Identify point of origin Move materials from the VDM area to the appropriate location after inspection Tag materials, assign VDM numbers, record findings in the inspection database, and print labels Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe work environment Assist in maintaining a clean and organized facility Substitute for other department staff as needed Perform any other tasks or projects assigned by a Supervisor or Manager

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM Occasional Saturdays required High level of attention required to inspect, identify, and measure door skins for conformance Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, and reach daily as needed Fast-paced environment High level of attention required to prevent injury to self, others, materials, and equipment

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work overtime, including weekends Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of door skin products and conformance standards Strong attention to detail Good attendance and work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
