Temp RPM Staffing is looking for experienced and dedicated packers in Van Alstyne!!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the correct packaging is used for specific products and packaged within the company standards. Inspect packaged products ensuring lot numbers and expiration dates are accurate. Report faulty packaging or quality issues to the machine operator and lead. Move completed boxes of products to the correct inventory area. Work at different stations as production requires. Using Good Documentation Practices (GDP), ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's. Adhere to all Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to produce a quality good that can be safely delivered to our customers. Follow all required work safety practices. This would include wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc. Supports all food safety and quality systems requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer, certifying body, GFSI, and company requirements. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail. Effective verbal communication skills, being fluent and proficient in the English language. (Bilingual is a plus). Must be able to work in an environment where you are exposed to sensitive food ingredients and allergens. Work well in a face paced and always changing manufacturing environment. Possess basic math skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays. Required to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal Checks).
