SUMMARY OF POSITION

Apple Moving is seeking a careful and detail-oriented Packer to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently packing customers' belongings to ensure they arrive at their destination in perfect condition. You will be a key part of delivering the exceptional moving experience that Apple Moving is known for.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

Carefully pack, wrap and protect fragile, valuable, and specialty household and office items using appropriate materials and techniques. Assist with the preparation of the residence/office to prevent property damage along with labeling all boxes clearly and accurately with contents and destination room. Load and unload properly secure boxes and items onto moving trucks for transportation. Assist Company drivers in completing moves with high customer satisfaction. Clean, restock truck with necessary supplies. Measure, weight, and count products and materials. Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met. Communicate professionally with customers throughout the packing process and always maintain a positive attitude. Follow all Apple Moving safety protocols and quality standards Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift. Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods. Ability to work in varying environments including homes, offices, and storage facilities. Skills & Experience Prior experience in packing, moving, or a related field preferred.. Knowledge of proper packing techniques for fragile, oversized, and specialty items Experience with packing materials such as boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, and tape. Ability to efficiently and neatly organize and label packed items for easy identification. Professional Qualities Exceptionally detail-oriented with a careful, methodical approach to work. Trustworthy and respectful when handling customers' personal belongings. Strong time management skills to complete packing within scheduled timeframes. Team player with the ability to work independently when needed. Professional and courteous demeanor with customers at all times. Technical Requirements Ability to read and follow packing instructions and inventory checklists. Basic knowledge of inventory tracking and labeling systems a plus. Other Requirements Must pass a background check and drug screening. Flexible availability including weekends and holidays. Must comply with all Apple Moving safety policies and procedures. Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
