Full-time Position Summary:
The Order Fulfillment Associate provides the focused attention and quick pace necessary to accurately package and fulfill orders for scheduled sale and shipment and will oversee the picking of finished goods for orders and ensuring all compliance labeling has been applied. This position's main function is pulling sales orders and preparing them for delivery, verifying accuracy of product type and quantity. Additionally, the Order Fulfillment Associate is quality checking to ensure compliant labeling as they prepare orders.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist the Packaging Lead in daily activities of the packaging department including, but not limited to, packaging finished products, creating packaging labels, preparing orders for delivery Review upcoming orders and plan the production schedule to ensure that delivery timelines are met; Accurately reads and interprets sales orders for hand picking and packing of medical cannabis products Review upcoming deliveries, print picklist, fulfill order items in accordance with their sales order. Create the packages in Metrc/LeafLink Coordinate with the sales team to manage any order changes or discrepancies Ensure proper training for execution of all aspects of packaging; directs team in carrying out procedures and schedules, as needed Print package labels and making sure they are properly affixed to packaging; make certain that packages ready for shipment have all required labeling Maintain proper supply levels of product packaging and shipping materials Maintain accurate records in the electronic tracking system Execute packaging and labeling tasks, including documentation and inventory control procedures, in accordance with state regulations; communicate inventory discrepancies to the Packaging Lead Follow established sanitation practices for staff, equipment, and facilities to ensure quality measures are met to maintain high quality of product Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a high school diploma, or the equivalent Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the Department of Commerce Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Preferred:
Experience in a production environment, preferably in a regulated industry producing for human consumption Experience in quality control
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong understanding of packaging processes, use of packaging equipment, and quality standards Knowledge of state and local cannabis policy and law General knowledge of math, weights, and quantities Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time using hands, wrists, and forearms Strong organizational skills Accurate data-entry and recordkeeping skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, if needed Excellent computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills
