Full-time About the Role International PaperBox is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Inspector/Packer to join our production team. This position plays an important role in making sure finished cartons are inspected, packed, counted, and prepared correctly for our customers. This role is commonly known in manufacturing as a "catcher," but at IPB we call it Inspector/Packer because the job is more than simply catching product off the machine. The Inspector/Packer helps protect product quality, supports machine operators, and makes sure every box that leaves the line meets customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities The Inspector/Packer will:

Inspect folding cartons as they come off production equipment Check for defects such as poor glue, scratches, scuffs, bad print, incorrect folds, or damaged cartons Pack cartons neatly and correctly according to job instructions Count, stack, bundle, case, or palletize product as required Follow quality standards and immediately report problems to the operator or supervisor Help keep the machine area clean, organized, and safe Assist operators with basic production support as needed Follow written job specifications, packing instructions, and customer requirements Work as part of a team to keep production running smoothly Support IPB's Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement culture Look for small ways to reduce waste, improve flow, and make the work area better every day Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement At International PaperBox, we believe in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement. Qualifications A successful candidate should have: Strong attention to detail Good hand-eye coordination Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to work at a steady pace in a production environment Willingness to follow instructions and quality standards Dependability and good attendance A positive attitude and willingness to learn Interest in Lean Manufacturing, 2 Second Lean, or continuous improvement Willingness to help improve the work area, reduce waste, and solve small problems every day Previous manufacturing, packaging, printing, folding carton, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required Physical Requirements This position may require: Standing for most of the shift Repetitive hand and arm movement Lifting and moving boxes or bundles of product Bending, reaching, and turning throughout the shift Working around production machinery in a safe and focused manner What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing good work, notices small details, and understands that quality matters.
