About Our Opportunity We are seeking Lane Verifiers, to work in the Blairs, Virginia warehouse. The Lane Verifier keeps all conveyor lanes empty by scanning, palletizing and stacking cartons for order shipment. Responsibilities Stages empty pallets at the assigned conveyor lane. Use RF scanner on daily basis to scan Pallet ID, lane Bar Code and case bar codes Stacks scanned cartons onto the staged pallet, heavier cartons on the bottom, no taller than 77 inches. Immediately notify lane conductor of any incorrect items coming down conveyor Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain constructive working relationships. A commitment to company-wide quality and safety is required. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Properly place and initial pallet ID tags for every pallet. Qualifications Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and report discrepancies to Supervisor. Knowledge to use a pallet jack and an automated stretch wrap machine. Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals. Ability to understand written and oral instructions. Ability to perform basic math Continued education preferred. Three months prior experience and/or training in the distribution/manufacturing environment preferred. Experience with RF scanners preferred. Shipping/dock experience preferred.
