Shipping, Receiving & Warehousing (SRW) Associate Day Shift | Contract‑to‑Hire We are hiring Shipping, Receiving & Warehousing (SRW) Associates to support warehouse and logistics operations in a large manufacturing environment in Chesapeake, VA . This is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity offering long shifts, consistent hours, and strong potential for long‑term placement for dependable, motivated candidates. Schedule Day Shift Only 6:00 AM - 6:15 PM Rotating schedule (alternating 3‑day and 4‑day workweeks) Overtime paid at time and a half Pay Rate $17.00 per hour Shift differentials may apply depending on assignment What You'll Do Perform shipping and receiving activities, including preparing finished goods for customer shipment Package finished products from the production line Pack, unpack, and visually inspect materials for quality and accuracy Coordinate stock and assist with inventory storage and organization Document warehouse transactions and maintain accurate records Build pallets and move large sheets as part of two‑person tasks Deliver orders internally and assist with returning canceled or damaged items to vendors Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Adhere to all safety and environmental rules Safely operate tools and equipment used in warehouse operations Support supervisors and teammates with training and cross‑training Perform other duties as assigned A forklift license may be required and can be provided on site if needed.
