Job Summary :
The Palletizer is responsible for safely and efficiently stacking, labeling, and securing finished cases onto pallets, ensuring product quality, accuracy, and workplace safety. This role also supports material handling, basic troubleshooting, and housekeeping to maintain smooth end-of-line operations.
Core Responsibilities:
Stack finished cases onto pallets according to standard patterns and height requirements. Ensure pallet stability to prevent tipping, leaning, or product damage. Print, verify, and apply pallet labels with correct product codes, lot numbers, and date codes. Secure pallets using stretch wrap machines or manual wrapping. Operate forklifts (as certified) to move pallets to staging, shipping, or storage areas. Maintain organized lanes for WIP and completed product. Perform repack tasks, including sorting damaged cases and restacking product to quality standards. Keep palletizing area clean and organized using 5S practices. Monitor tape machines, ensure supplies are stocked, and perform basic troubleshooting.
Verify carton quality:
correct date/time codes, proper glue welds, and no damage. Relieve coworkers for breaks/lunch to maintain continuous coverage. Report issues (e.g., case quality, label shortages, pallet shortages) that cannot be resolved within 5-15 minutes to leads/supervisors. Own the end-of-line process through teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.

Accuracy:
Labels are always correct, legible, and properly applied.
Efficiency:
Pallets are built to standard quickly and without delays.
Safety:
Follow all forklift safety rules, proper lifting techniques, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Housekeeping:
Work area is kept clean and organized throughout the shift and at shift end
Qualifications:
Education
  • High school diploma, but previous work-related skills, knowledge, and experience is needed. Experience
  • A minimum of one-year experience in a manufacturing environment. Working Environment
  • Safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes are required. In addition, task specific PPE may be required.
  • Our Manufacturing plant is not environmentally controlled.
Changes in humidity and temperature occur throughout the year.
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to continuously use hands and fingers to position items and arms to reach as needed.
  • Able to frequently bend, move about the work area.
  • Able to occasionally remain in a stationary position, ascend and descend steps, push and pull objects.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Lifting 50 pounds occasionally.
