TEMPORARY
positions available. 4-6 weeks JUNE and part of JULY only. Part time seasonal 20-40 hours per week. Immediate start permanent position. This is a fast-paced, seasonal role focused on inspecting, wrapping, and boxing confections for shipping. Must maintain strict hygiene standards, stand for extended periods, and execute highly repetitive tasks accurately. 4 to 6 week position only.
Core Responsibilities Product Inspection:
Visually inspect chocolates for correct shape, shine, and overall quality prior to packing.
Packaging & Wrapping:
Sort, weigh, and wrap chocolates, placing them into specific bags, pouches, or gift boxes.
Labeling & Sealing:
Seal containers and accurately apply pre-printed labels.
Shipping Prep:
Assemble shipping cartons, pack orders, and prepare them for distribution.
Sanitation:
Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by frequently cleaning work stations, sanitizing equipment, and adhering to strict dress codes (e.g., hairnets, gloves).
Requirements Availability:
Must have open availability Monday-Friday 8-6pm
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts, perform repetitive hand motions, and lift 25 to 50 pounds. Attention to
Detail:
Must be able to follow detailed packing guidelines and verify lot numbers or expiration dates.
Food Safety Knowledge:
Understanding of food safety guidelines; a valid Food Handler Safety Card is required. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID.
Clothing:
Requires adherence to a strict uniform policy, including no jewelry, piercings, nail polish, or false nails.
Communication:
Requires ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with co-workers in a friendly, non-judgmental manner.
Work Environment Environment:
Climate-controlled, fast-paced production in a manufacturing facility.
Team Structure:
Work alongside line supervisor and manufacturing associates to ensure production lines keep moving.
