Part-Time / As-Needed Packaging Assistant

Small e-commerce business looking for occasional help packaging products including herbs, bulk seeds, and mineral powders.

Work includes:

Operating a small tabletop filling machine Operating a small heat-sealing machine (band sealer) Applying labels Simple repetitive production work This is quiet, structured, independent work in a low-stress environment. Occasional light lifting is required to refill the filling machine. Otherwise, work can usually be done seated and involves minimal interaction with others. This position does not require strong verbal English skills. Most shifts are worked independently, and you will often be working alone in a quiet environment. You're welcome to listen to headphones while working. This is a casual, flexible position with varying hours. Shifts are generally 4 hours long, with scheduling worked around the applicant's availability. This position is intended to be flexible, and applicants are welcome to accept only the shifts that fit their availability. Morning and school-hours availability is preferred when possible. Some weeks may have several shifts available, while other weeks may have little or no work available. Hours are expected to become more consistent over time. The workspace is located on a quiet residential riverside property in the forest, attached to a private home. There is no nearby public transportation. Friendly dogs, cats, and ducks live on the property, though pets are not in the workspace itself. Some packaging tasks may involve exposure to dust from natural materials like seeds, herbs, minerals, or straw. Masks may be worn if preferred.

Good attention to detail Comfortable doing repetitive hands-on work Willing to complete a background check (at our expense) Dependable and able to work independently No experience required. Training provided.
