Material Handler/Packager Job Description:
Help with packaging on a press machine. Working alongside the machine operator. Will take rolls off machine and place in boxes. Once box if filled, will tape box and place on pallet. Once pallet is full, worker will move pallet jack from machine over to another area. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. lifting boxes of rolls. Steel toe shoes. Candidates do not have to have machine experience. This is a special project will last up to a full year or longer but also has potential to lead to a hire before special project ends. Operates basic finishing equipment and tools based established processes and directions. Follows work order instructions, performs quality tests, and adheres to productivity standards. Develops understanding of tools and equipment used in routine machine equipment operation under direct supervision. Learns policies and procedures, and applies them in routine activities. Builds productive working relationships internally, and resolves problems of limited complexity. Complies with all required safety practices and regulations. High school education or equivalent vocational qualification. 2-5 years experience
