• 1:00pm Join a dynamic prep team in a food manufacturing environment in Monroe, WI where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the production of high-quality cheeses.

This position offers an engaging opportunity to work with automation and contribute to efficient food safety practices, making it ideal for those passionate about quality and teamwork.

Prep Responsibilities:

• Hand scrape, spice rub, and smear cheeses to prepare them for packaging
• Cut cheeses manually or with machinery according to company specifications
• Label finished products and assemble boxes for final packaging
• Operate sealing machines to secure completed boxes
• Prepare cheese for packaging by hand or with equipment, including wrapping and painting
• Participate in safety meetings and initiatives aimed at improving workplace safety and efficiency
• Perform quality checks, including sample collection for QA
• Move final products as directed, including palletizing and documentation
• Report injuries and safety hazards immediately to supervisors
• Complete mandatory training and adhere to safety and food safety regulations such as FDA, HACCP, GMP, and OSHA
• Assist with other production tasks as assigned, including entering data into JD Edwards and controlling paperwork
• Work overtime and occasional weekends as needed to support production schedules Requirements for

Prep:

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds constantly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks including standing, walking, bending, twisting, and squatting for extended periods
• Ability to work with automated equipment and in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for measurements and recordkeeping
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
