Job Description

Crate Builder - Join Team Omni Omni Glass & Paint is hiring a full-time Crate Builder to join our team. Since 1967, we've built a reputation for quality and reliability across Wisconsin, completing thousands of successful projects. From homes and hospitals to schools and offices, we're proud of the work we do-and the people who do it. Our schedule runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 3:30pm, with a short four-hour shift every Friday. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with excellent benefits, opportunities to advance, and a supportive team environment. What You'll Do As a Crate Builder, you'll construct wooden crates to safely package glass for delivery to job sites. You'll measure and assemble crates using hand and power tools like table saws, nail guns, and glue guns. You'll also help load and unload materials with forklifts or pallet jacks, organize product and equipment, and inspect items for accuracy and safety before shipment. Inventory checks, order picking, and safe work practices are all part of the job. This is a hands-on, physical role that's ideal for someone who enjoys building, staying active, and paying attention to detail. What You'll Need To succeed in this role, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read instructions and use basic tools. Experience with hand and power tools is a plus, but not required-we're happy to train motivated individuals. You should be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to lift and move materials as part of your daily work. Good attendance, teamwork, and communication skills are essential.
