Order Picker

JOB OVERVIEW

The Order Picker is responsible for picking orders timely, completely, and accurately.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Wrap pallets for secure transport. Loads and unloads trucks using a forklift or manually. Load trailers based on delivery schedule. Pick orders accurately and completely by order priority. Rotates and organizes stock as needed. Updates product inventory as needed. Assists in general warehouse duties. Performs other related duties as assigned. Delivers products to our stores and customers.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic understanding of railway, dock, and warehouse procedures. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision. Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods standing, walking, and sitting. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Must be able to traverse warehouse, stores, and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
