About the team:

The team leads sourcing efforts at Sam's Club across key categories including OTC, Eyecare, Rx, and Hearing Aid Batteries within Consumables and Health and Wellness. Collaborating closely with Merchants and Product Developers, the team focuses on delivering high-quality Members Mark products. They engage with suppliers to identify and develop partnerships that align with Sam's Club standards. The team emphasizes strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cost-effective procurement to support business goals and enhance product offerings for members. What you'll do: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize supplier selection and cost efficiency. Lead supplier relationship management to ensure performance standards and continuous improvement. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to achieve cost reduction and value creation. Manage procurement processes including RFQs, supplier evaluations, and direct imports. Analyze market trends and commodity pricing to inform category strategy and purchasing decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally to align sourcing initiatives with business objectives and supply chain requirements. Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks.
