Job Description:
We're partnering with a leading industrial manufacturer to identify an experienced Senior Buyer to support major capital projects and facility investments. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-value procurement initiatives, influence project success, and work closely with Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Finance, and executive leadership teams. If you enjoy negotiating complex agreements, managing strategic suppliers, and driving cost-effective project execution, this could be an excellent next step.
What You'll Be Doing:
? Leading procurement activities for capital equipment, construction services, engineering packages, MEP/instrumentation systems, and specialty materials ? Managing the full procurement lifecycle-from sourcing and RFQs through negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management ? Supporting major CAPEX projects by ensuring materials and services are delivered on time and within budget ? Building strong relationships with suppliers, OEMs, contractors, and internal stakeholders ? Identifying cost savings and value engineering opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards ? Utilizing ERP systems (SAP preferred) to manage procurement activities and reporting
What We're Looking For:
  • 8+ years of procurement experience, including capital project or CAPEX procurement
  • Experience within manufacturing, steel, energy, oil & gas, heavy industrial, construction, or EPC environments
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation experience
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams and interpret engineering specifications
  • Experience managing high-value supplier relationships and complex procurement packages
