Job Description

Join our team as Director of Purchasing for Hotels! Step into the spotlight as our Director of Purchasing for hotels! Reporting to the Director of Finance, you'll be the behind-the-scenes hero ensuring the hotel is always stocked, on-budget, and running like clockwork. Lead the charge in all things procurement—from scouting the best deals to keeping the team sharp—all while making sure we're playing by the rules and staying ahead of the game.
KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement Prodigy:
Continuously improving purchasing processes, hunting for smart deals, and keeping costs lean—all with a touch of magic!
SOP & Budget Boss:
Refine and enforce purchasing procedures while tracking KPIs, managing budgets, and closing the books without surprises.
Inventory & Contract Maestro:
Keep inventory just right and review orders/contracts with eagle-eyed accuracy.
Team Captain & Vendor Ally:
Lead, mentor, and train the squad while building strong supplier relationships for quality and value.
Market Maven & Confidentiality Champ:
Stay ahead with industry insights and always protect sensitive info.
Reporting Rockstar:
Deliver clear, helpful reports—and jump in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field required; minimum 5 years of hotel or related experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing purchasing teams with proven results. Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills; able to meet deadlines effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities in diverse, multicultural settings. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
