The Sourcing Manager is a critical contributor to the global sourcing organization, responsible for executing strategic sourcing initiatives and managing supplier performance across key international markets. This role combines strong commercial execution with data-driven decision-making, AI-enabled sourcing tools, and proactive risk management. Reporting to the SVP of Global Sourcing, this position plays a pivotal role in transforming sourcing from a transactional function into a strategic, insight-led capability that drives cost leadership, innovation, and supply resilience. What You'll Be Responsible For 1. Strategic Sourcing Execution Execute sourcing strategies aligned with cost, quality, speed-to-market, and risk objectives Lead RFQs/RFPs and supplier selection using structured, data-driven evaluation frameworks Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers—particularly across China and Asia supply markets Partner with cross-functional teams (product, quality, logistics) to ensure sourcing alignment 2. Supplier Performance & Relationship Management Own supplier relationships and ensure consistent performance against cost, delivery, and quality KPIs Conduct supplier scorecards, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives Drive accountability through clear metrics, transparency, and structured follow-up Support contract negotiations, commercial terms, and supplier compliance 3. Cost Management & Insights Analyze supplier pricing, cost structures, and market trends using analytics and AI-supported tools Identify cost-saving opportunities including: ▪ Should-cost modeling ▪ Alternative sourcing strategies ▪ Value engineering collaboration Deliver clear, actionable reporting and insights to leadership 4. Supply Risk & Continuity Monitor supplier and market risks using data insights and predictive signals Proactively identify risks (capacity, geopolitical, logistics, financial stability) Execute contingency plans, including dual sourcing and supplier diversification Partner with leadership to ensure supply continuity during disruptions 5. Operational Execution Excellence Ensure smooth execution of purchase orders, production tracking, and delivery timelines Resolve supply issues quickly and effectively, minimizing business impact Continuously improve sourcing processes for speed, accuracy, and scalability 6. Digital & AI-Enabled Sourcing Leverage digital procurement tools, supplier platforms, and AI technologies to improve sourcing outcomes Utilize data dashboards and automation to increase efficiency and decision speed Maintain high-quality sourcing data to support visibility and analytics Actively contribute to building a modern, tech-enabled sourcing function What We're Looking For Experience 5-8+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles Strong experience with international sourcing, preferably Asia/China Proven track record delivering cost savings and supplier performance improvements Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven or consumer goods environments preferred Skills & Capabilities Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into decisions Comfortable using ERP systems, sourcing platforms, and data tools High ownership mentality with strong execution discipline Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global environment Modern Differentiators (What Sets Top Candidates Apart) Experience using AI tools, automation, or advanced analytics in sourcing Familiarity with should-cost modeling or cost breakdown analysis Exposure to supplier risk tools or digital supply chain platforms Continuous improvement mindset with interest in process optimization and innovation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Delivered cost savings and margin improvement Supplier OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) performance Supplier quality metrics (defect rates, returns) Sourcing cycle time and execution speed Risk reduction and supply continuity Adoption of digital tools and data accuracy Success Profile The ideal candidate is: Proactive- anticipates issues before they arise Analytical
