Job Description

Indirect Procurement Manager Introduction:
The Indirect Procurement Manager role is crucial in developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals. This position focuses on enterprise procurement of construction services supporting large-scale capital programs ranging from $3B to $4B. The ideal candidate will have experience in approving purchase orders up to $10 million and will play a key role in driving performance, cost savings, sustainability, and supplier diversity.
Responsibilities:
Establish a high-performance team to develop strategic portfolio and category plans for cost savings and service excellence. Oversee contract spend across multiple categories and develop short and long-term strategies for all spend categories. Lead cross-functional teams in executing strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiation strategies. Monitor and maximize customer satisfaction through standardized client service level agreements. Approve purchase orders and contracts ranging from $500,000 to $10 million. Directly supervise Sourcing Supervisors, Category Leaders, and Sourcing Specialists. Develop work processes and procedures aligning with organizational requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum:
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience required (one year of experience for every year of college). 8 years of total sourcing or related industry experience; technical/category experience may be required.
Preferred:
MBA or equivalent advanced degree. Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Project Management, and Utility industry. 10 years of total sourcing experience or related industry experience. 5 years of supervisor experience. SAP/SRM proficiency. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve implementation barriers. Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
