Leads cross line of business teams to drive competitive cost, supplier performance and supply chain efficiencies. Create and implement supply chain initiatives & improvements to drive efficiencies and best practices. Provides balanced judgement and demonstrates problem solving skills in extremely complex and ambiguous situations. Creates an environment that allows for exploration and deployment of new ideas. Mentor and provide leadership to other colleagues. Sets an example of agility and adaptability. Builds constructive stakeholder relationships which involve direct interaction and influence with different Oracle lines of business and Oracle suppliers. Acts as the primary interface in the management of the supplier relationships. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Able to operate in fast pace, ambiguous environment. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. This role will have led commercial responsibility for data center passive fiber cabling products such as patch cords, trunks and bulk fiber products. It will involve quoting, negotiating, contracting, awarding, and managing the passive fiber cable products from inventory procurement through product deliveries to end destinations. This will require excellent leadership, collaboration, and analytical skills. Learning agility and strategic sourcing skills are critical for success in this role, as the successful candidate will be expected to manage moderate to high complexity supply chain optimization projects that many cases will involve collaboration with product management, finance, legal, trade compliance, engineering, and procurement team members. Adaptability and speed of execution are also essential for success in the current global supply chain environment.
Qualifications:
6+ years relevant experience and BA/BS degree. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, negotiations, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.
Ability to:
Evaluate submitted proposals/quotes against Oracle standards. Manage data center passive fiber cabling product suppliers that meet stakeholder requirements. Negotiate and execute supplier contractual agreements while sustaining product competitiveness. Track and provide supplier performance feedback to ensure Oracle standards are achieved. Create and implement supply chain initiatives and improvements to drive efficiencies and best practices. Develop constructive stakeholder relationships which involve direct interaction with different Oracle lines of business and Oracle networking suppliers. Influence product selection with stakeholders based on continuity of supply, cost, and technology.
