Procurement Manager | Wheat Ridge, CO USA Rare Earth USA Rare Earth is building the future of domestic critical mineral supply-and we're looking for a Procurement Manager to help scale our operations. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll build procurement systems from the ground up , support mining and processing operations, and lead a growing team (starting with your first hire: Buyer). ????
What You'll Do:
Establish and scale procurement systems for mining & processing operations and capital projects Lead sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and contract negotiations Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance & Finance to ensure material readiness Manage supplier performance, mitigate supply chain risk, and drive cost efficiencies Support major equipment purchases, shutdowns, and inventory planning Build and lead a high-performing procurement team ?
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of procurement/supply chain experience in mining, manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments Leadership experience (1-3+ years managing or mentoring others) Proven experience with strategic sourcing, contracts, and inventory planning Strong ERP experience ( Business Central or Smartsheet preferred ) Ability to build and improve procurement systems in a fast-growing environment ?
