This role is responsible for overseeing the sourcing process within the allocated commodities, perform business partnering with the relevant stakeholders within the commodity, coordinates with Category Managers to provide feedback and support on commodity specific strategies and manage operational issues. The Sourcing Manager implements the sourcing strategy for the centralized or center-led commodities in line with the overall company sourcing strategy to constantly increase productivity, optimize external global spend, and reduce costs. Compensation Data Duties & Responsibilities Spend Management and Consolidation:
Collaborates with Category Management and provide input to create and refine global Category Strategies. Implements Commodity Strategy on local level following the Target Operating Model (TOM) including, creating and optimizing Sourcing Cards, documenting savings and identifying potential efficiencies. Executes sourcing activities within the markets as identifying and driving projects across commodities within their responsibility to achieve Sourcing-relevant goals like automation, spend consolidation and supplier optimization. Continuously leverages market opportunities and bring strong negotiation skills to add value for the business while maximizing implementation and usage of Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and Frame Services Agreements (FSAs). Optimizes sourcing processes within assigned commodities to achieve cost savings and improve logistical efficiency.
Business Partnering:
Understands and promotes the Strategy and the Value proposition of Sourcing towards Business Partners, aligning and sharing sourcing priorities with Business Partners to achieve Sourcing-relevant goals through advanced Sourcing Excellence. Collaborates with local Business Partners to ensure procurement activities align with their needs and the company's overall goals; setting joint targets, aligning sourcing projects while understanding business strategies and demand forecast to proactively drive improvements.
Supplier and Risk Management:
Identifies and mitigates risks associated with sourcing activities in low-complexity or centralized categories, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with suppliers, focusing on contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and resolving issues at an early stage. Actively supports or partially conducts support Business Review meetings focused on market intelligence and innovation, while also identifying, mapping, and evaluating sourcing risks to develop risk mitigation plans ensuring business continuity and minimizing risks. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or a related field required. Three to six (3-6) years of sourcing experience in category management field, with knowledge of strategic leadership and supplier management. Excellent Mental fortitude & growth skill. Advanced in Contract Development and Management. Strong negotiation skill. Experienced in Self enabled buying. Demonstrable knowledge in Sourcing Approach.
Eligibility Requirements :
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required). Must be 18 years of age or older.
