Job Description

Category Manager Denver, CO or Houston, TX (Denver is preferred) 4 months with probable extension or contract to hire•one week in office/one week remote W2 Rate•$60-62/hr•
NO 1099 NO CTC NO THIRD PARTY
Qualifications 3-5 years experience as a well-rounded supply chain, procurement, or category management experience, preferably within the upstream oil and gas industry. Understanding of procurement processes, contract administration, supplier management, and commercial negotiations. Experience analyzing spend data, evaluating commercial alternatives, and interpreting contract terms and conditions. Experience with OpenInvoice and the Enverus suite is preferred•similar tools are acceptable Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with AI tools, automation technologies, and digital procurement solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
