We are capable of quick turn and regular lead-times. We assure complete adherence to customer specifications and consistency in quality control through effective process control. Circuitronix has a proven track record in serving its reputed clientele across multiple industries including automotive electronics, instrumentation and controls, railways, telecommunications, medical, health, and fitness aerospace, defense, consumer electronics and many more. The Purchasing Supervisor oversees the corporate purchasing team in order to control all purchasing operations of raw material required for production needs. In charge of ensuring all raw materials are delivered on time, at the best possible price. Gives feedback to the Inside Sales Department and Management team regarding potential shortages, overages, or any other issues that may occur. Ultimately, is responsible for keeping production running smoothly by working with our vendors, production team, sales team, and management team to mitigate all potential risks in the supply chain. Job Duties and responsibilities Analysis of Weekly Forecast, MRP, planning all purchases of resins, colorants and components (metal inserts, films, Mylars, labels, spacers, gaskets, paints, magnets, locks, et cetera). Order and expedite components parts from outside vendors and internal suppliers to support manufacturing operations. Sourcing and Negotiation of prices with suppliers from USA, Mexico and China of all the resins and components for the company. Partner with cross functional teams to identify lead time reduction opportunities and to improve overall vendor services levels. Negotiate with vendors for the best total price. Responsible for the monitoring and coordination along with the Logistics Department of the importation of materials from Asia to the US. Responsible for purchasing reports consolidating all the production information, inventory stock, prices and lead time for approval of weekly material requirements. Works pro-actively with other departments to mitigate shortages. Continually identifies and implements new opportunities for cost reduction, lead time reduction, payment terms, et cetera Keeps up to date with material prices and market trends while developing/implementing plans to manage through the market changes. Provide feedback to Inside Sales Department and management concerning potential problems that could affect manufacturing operations. Associates Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related discipline. At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or materials planning within manufacturing setting, preferred to have experience in buying mechanical parts, electronics, cables, & assemblies, but not require. Experience with manufacturing ERP systems.
