In this pivotal role, you will oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and management of suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services. Your expertise will drive cost efficiencies, optimize supply chain processes, and uphold compliance with industry standards and regulations. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with project goals and budget targets. Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and purchasing. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to streamline procurement workflows, track materials, and manage purchase orders effectively. Conduct root cause analysis to resolve supply chain disruptions, improve sourcing methods, and enhance overall procurement performance. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with project teams to forecast material requirements using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and coordinate logistics for timely delivery. Maintain strong supplier relationships through ongoing supplier management practices, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) where applicable. Skills Extensive experience in procurement management within the construction or manufacturing sectors. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and other supply chain management tools. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing advantageous contracts. Knowledge of contract management principles, including drafting, reviewing, and enforcing agreements. Expertise in sourcing strategies, category management, and supply chain optimization. Familiarity with logistics planning, materials management, production planning, and quality assurance processes. Ability to perform root cause analysis to identify issues within supply chains and implement effective solutions.
