This role is integral to the success of our studio, ensuring that every furnishing, finish, and installation is executed seamlessly from proposal through delivery. Working directly with Lauren and our design team, you will manage procurement, vendor communication, project logistics, receiving coordination, and client billing support, allowing the design team to remain focused on creating exceptional homes and delivering an elevated client experience. Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Purchasing Management Manage the procurement process from approved proposal through final installation. Generate and review purchase orders for accuracy, pricing, specifications, freight requirements, and vendor terms. Place orders through Studio Designer and maintain complete procurement records. Track order confirmations, production schedules, lead times, and estimated delivery dates. Coordinate with vendors regarding acknowledgements, payment requirements, and shipping updates. Prepare purchase documentation for principal approval and wire transfer execution. Vendor & Trade Partner Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for manufacturers, showrooms, artisans, workrooms, and trade vendors. Build and maintain professional relationships that reflect the caliber and reputation of Lauren Lichko Interiors. Negotiate and resolve issues involving damages, shortages, backorders, replacements, warranty claims, and freight discrepancies. Proactively communicate project updates and potential concerns before they become issues. Receiving, Warehousing & Installation Coordination Coordinate closely with receiving warehouses to maintain inventory accuracy and monitor incoming merchandise. Review receiving reports and reconcile inventory against purchase orders. Manage punch lists related to damaged, missing, or incomplete items. Coordinate installation schedules with receiving teams, white-glove delivery services, contractors, and vendors. Assist in developing strategic installation plans that ensure projects are completed efficiently and at the highest standard. Project Operations & Administration Maintain accurate project records, procurement logs, vendor communications, and status reports. Support proposal generation, invoicing, and billing coordination through Studio Designer. Monitor project budgets and procurement expenditures. Provide regular status updates to the design team and principal. Develop and refine operational systems, workflows, and procedures that support studio growth and efficiency. Assist with project logistics, scheduling, and administrative tasks as needed. Client Experience Support Help maintain the elevated, personalized service experience that defines Lauren Lichko Interiors. Ensure client-facing information is accurate, organized, and professionally communicated. Support project timelines and installation planning to deliver a seamless client experience from concept through completion. QualificationsRequired Experience 3+ years of experience in interior design operations, procurement, project management, merchandising, or a related field. Experience working with luxury residential interior design projects strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience managing furniture procurement, order tracking, and installation logistics. Proficiency in Studio Designer, including proposals, purchasing, order management, and invoicing workflows. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Professional Skills Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through. Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions. Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently. Strong vendor management and relationship-building abilities. Professional demeanor with a client-service mindset.
