Job Description The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Procurement Manager in overseeing daily procurement operations to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of materials and services across key programs. This role supervises Buyers and Expeditors, manages procurement program trackers, and ensures adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, including FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and AS9100 standards. The Procurement Supervisor collaborates cross-functionally to monitor supplier performance, maintain material readiness, drive process improvements, and meet KPI targets related to cost, delivery, and quality. Our client supports complex, precision-driven manufacturing and defense-related programs. Operating out of a modern 90,000 sq. ft. facility in Central Florida, the team provides full lifecycle services including manufacturing, integration/testing, environmental testing, quality assurance, and logistics. The facility includes dedicated office space, five production clean rooms, a high-bay area, and an ERP-integrated warehouse. Operations are ITAR compliant and focused on delivering high-quality, U.S.-origin products while maintaining a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Buyers and Expeditors, driving accountability and performance against procurement KPIs
- Assist in managing the RFQ process, including creation of master trackers, timelines, and assignment of commodities
- Oversee Procurement Program Trackers to ensure data accuracy and alignment with program schedules
- Review and track Procurement Review Board (PRB) actions to ensure program objectives are met
- Analyze procurement requirements across a wide range of commodities, including: o Batteries, castings, machining, CNC components o Circuit card assemblies (CCAs), harnesses, motors o Mechanical assemblies and precision-machined parts
- Participate in key meetings including procurement alignment sessions, RFQ reviews, production meetings, and vendor calls
- Partner with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure ERP data integrity and production alignment
- Review supplier proposals, pricing, and lead times to ensure compliance with program requirements
- Lead supplier negotiations to achieve best value across cost, delivery, and terms
- Manage supplier relationships for assigned commodities as needed
- Ensure procurement documentation and processes comply with FAR and AS9100 standards
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, including
ITAR/EAR

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience
- Minimum 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in environments with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) or DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement)
- ERP system experience required (Syteline or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, data analysis)
- Strong experience evaluating pricing, lead times, and supplier performance
