Product Category Manager - Snacks, Nutrition & Pet The Islander Group (TIG) Mililani, Hawaiʻi (On-site) Full-time Base salary range: $55,000-$70,000 + bonus eligibility About TIG The Islander Group (TIG) is Hawaiʻi's leading wholesale distribution company serving retailers, foodservice operators, and commercial customers across the Hawaiian Islands and Guam. We represent international brands like Oberto Beef Jerky, Atkin and CLIF Nutrition products, and Inaba Pet Foods, as well as local brands like Kauai Kookie, Mochi Foods and Kaimana Jerky. The Role Build and grow TIG's Food, Nutrition and Pet portfolio. This position works closely with major national and local food, beverage and snacks suppliers to support local and national retailers across the Hawaiian Islands Key Responsibilities Own the Snack, Nutrition and Pet categories pipeline from supplier development through customer satisfaction; product timelines, risks, and key marketing decisions. Collaborate with our purchasing, retail sales/marketing, and operational teams to procure and deliver your products to market. Evaluate and continually improve category distribution, market share and sales profit. Develop and strengthen long-lasting business relationships with manufacturers and customers, balancing quality, lead times, and total landed cost. Build repeatable tools and templates to scale product development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, advertising, or any other business-related field, plus business acumen: margin, landed cost drivers, and ROI. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze and evaluate marketing programs and pricing policies. Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications and others necessary for the creation of visually and verbally engaging reports, presentations, and materials. Hawaii Retail or Wholesale experience On-site in Mililani/Central Oahu (Hawaiʻi ties preferred). Compensation & Benefits •Base salary range: $55,000-$70,000 (depending on experience) + bonus eligibility. Medical, dental, and vision insurance. Paid time off and company-observed holidays.
