Equipment Standards & Strategic Sourcing Manager ECOLAB $120,500.00 - $180,700.00 United States, Illinois, Naperville Company Location (Show on map) May 11, 2026 Ecolab is seeking an Equipment Standards & Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our North America Manufacturing Engineering team! The Equipment Standards & Strategic Sourcing Manager defines standard equipment solutions and partners with Procurement to drive cost leverage, safety, and longterm asset reliability across North America, incorporating lifecycle maintenance and reliability risk into sourcing decisions.
What You Will Do:
Define and govern standard equipment specifications and approved vendor lists
Identify low-cost, high-value equipment solutions for standard equipment utilized in 10 or more sites
Partner with Procurement on sourcing strategies and supplier engagement for bulk purchasing
Approve equipment deviations and lifecycle strategies
Monitor equipment performance and total cost of ownership
Support sites with equipment selection guidance
Incorporate lifecycle maintenance cost, failure modes, and reliability risk into equipment standards and sourcing strategies
Develop and maintain networklevel reliability risk assessments for standard equipment and critical asset classes - optimize value of current assets
Provide guidance to the engineering network on the highest reliability and maintenance risks across North America
Partner with Reliability and Operations leaders to validate equipment standards against realworld performance.

Capital cost reductions through standardization
Increased reuse of standard designs
Improved equipment reliability and consistency
Reduced engineering effort per project.
Reduction in unplanned downtime and repeat failures associated with standardized equipment
Improved lifecycle cost performance of standard equipment selections
Clear visibility and prioritization of top network reliability risks
Position Details:
Open to any location within the United States
Up to 30% travel required
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
8 years of equipment or manufacturing engineering experience
Experience working with suppliers and procurement teams

Experience with reliability assessments and/or total lifecycle costs Annual or Hourly Compensation Range The base salary range for this position is $120,500.00 - $180,700.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
