Job Description
Kerkau Manufacturing is looking to hire a Purchasing Manager. This role is responsible for sourcing tooling, components, managing supplier relationships, supporting production schedules, and controlling cost, quality, and delivery performance. Key Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate with suppliers tooling, components, packaging, and other shop items.
- Support production schedules by maintaining and managing inventory levels of tooling.
- Monitor supplier performance for quality, on-time delivery, lead times, and cost.
- Manage purchase orders, pricing, contracts in our system.
- Partner with operations, and Production teams to resolve supply issues and improve purchasing performance. Qualifications
- 2+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and inventory control skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
