Overview:

The Sourcing Procurement Manager oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the Quoting Department. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive customer quotations while leading and developing a team of Quotation Specialists. The position partners closely with Supply Chain, Sales, and global sourcing teams to execute pricing strategies, support supplier selection, and drive continuous improvement within the quoting process.

Key Responsibilities:

Review all new quotation requests that have completed the sourcing process within Supply Chain. Distribute ASF quote request forms to suppliers and manage supplier engagement throughout the quoting process. Review supplier responses received via email and/or quotation software for completeness and accuracy. Compile and analyze supplier pricing within the cloud-based supplier management system. Review, update, and maintain supplier information within Quoting Department databases. Own and manage each quotation request from initial submission through final presentation to the ASF Sales team. Lead, train, and mentor a team of Quotation Specialists, ensuring high standards of accuracy, responsiveness, and customer service. Set priorities, allocate workloads, and monitor quote turnaround times to ensure customer deadlines are met. Collaborate with ASF's Taiwan team to leverage local supplier presence and support global procurement strategy execution. Assist in supplier selection decisions in alignment with ASF's Strategic Sourcing Strategy. Review Quoting Department procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Perform additional duties as assigned to support quoting operations and organizational success. Qualifications /

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered. Minimum of 7 years of experience in the fastener, industrial distribution, or MRO industry. At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience. Strong understanding of fastener specifications, materials, and industry standards (SAE, ASTM, ISO). Prior experience in quoting; fastener industry background strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises and provides training, coaching, and performance feedback to Quotation Specialists. Work Environment Office-based role in a fast-paced environment with frequent collaboration across departments and global teams. Priorities may shift based on customer demand, quote volume, and sourcing requirements.
