Position:
Procurement Manager (Automotive) Report to:
BU GM PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Develop, manage and lead the sourcing team (Automotive) in North America, to identify and develop qualified low-cost suppliers, focus on new supplier sourcing, qualification, price negotiation and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
  • Globally source needed components, request and negotiate price quotes and delivery time, primarily in North America Region.
  • Strategize the company long-term goals and objectives.
  • Achieve yearly cost down target.
  • Monitor department and company goals for which sourcing has responsibility.
  • Coordinate procurement of special material for special projects and engineering samples for new technology.
  • Implement supplier changes, monitor their success or failure, and adjust as needed.
  • Familiarize with new technology that would be used in a production manufacturing facility.
  • Work with PMC, RD and QA to improve material supply performance.
  • Develop and manage cost reduction program.
  • Manage and bring up team.
  • International travelling.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and above.
  • Minimum 10 years similar working experience in global manufacturing company.
  • Experience in automotive or 3C electronics industry is a must requirement.
  • Familiar with electronics component is preferred.
  • Global supplier development experience is preferred.
  • Good initiative of work, self-driving, result oriented, powerful and confidence.
  • Good in communication, negotiation, decision making, networking and innovation.
  • Good in oral and written English.
  • Good inter-personal skills and team player.
