The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Sourcing, development, and businesses maintenance of key vehicle systems, ensuring they meet quality, performance, cost, and timing targets. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to maintain system integration and compliance with internal control regulations.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead the purchasing strategy for assigned vehicle systems, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality sourcingDevelop and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to optimize cost, quality, and deliveryGuarantee the conformity to internal control system rulesWork closely with global and regional suppliers to enhance supply chain resilienceWork with engineering, R D, quality, and manufacturing teams to align purchasing activities with vehicle developmentOversee budget planning and cost tracking for purchasing activitiesSupport cost-reduction initiatives, improving efficiency across sourcing and procurement processesLead and mentor a cross-functional purchasing team, ensuring alignment with the company goalsWork with manufacturing and quality teams to address supplier quality concerns and implement corrective actions
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on interior and/or body componentsProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive purchasing strategies in a fast-paced environmentStrong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHighly proactive and visionary, with a track record of driving innovation and continuous improvementAbility to communicate effectively with international teams and suppliers Just like a bridge, our mission in purchasing is to connect internal and external partners to deliver world class results.
