Position Summary:

The Commodity Manager will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for key commodities within a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, vendor selection, negotiating contracts, and ensuring supply continuity to support aggressive production and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with business objectives. Manage the entire supplier contract life cycle—drafting, negotiating, implementation and adherence. Lead supplier negotiations related to contracts, pricing, inventory levels, and other key commercial terms to optimize cost and supply continuity. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to support new product introductions and design changes. Drive cost reduction initiatives, VAVE efforts and supplier performance improvements. Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, pricing, and performance metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Required:

Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Supply Chain/Operations/Engineering) 7+ years in a strategic sourcing role within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and commodity management principles Proven ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and cost targets. Contract Negotiation experience (MSA, MOU, Inventory, Commodity, Currency, etc.) Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
