job summary: Join our client as a Category Manager in Minneapolis, MN to optimize operations and make a high-stakes business impact! We are seeking a strategic professional ready to drive efficiency and grow their career in a dynamic environment.
Plan and execute competitive sourcing events, evaluating suppliers and negotiating complex, high-impact contracts.
Manage Tier I supplier relationships by developing performance scorecards and driving continuous improvement in quality and delivery.
Administer category contracts using principles of contract law, ensuring supplier compliance, and actively managing risk mitigation.
Create and oversee project plans that seamlessly integrate sourcing strategies with overarching business and supply chain objectives.
