Job Description

Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, contract administration, and supplier relationship management in support of a high-visibility client account. The ideal candidate will drive procurement operations that support field services, category management, and long-term cost optimization initiatives while partnering closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and client leadership. This individual will own and manage national contracts, oversee the contract database, support vendor transitions, and lead RFPs for facilities management and service-based projects. The ideal candidate will bring experience representing the buyer, not the seller, within a commercial real estate (CRE) or facilities management (FM) environment, with a strong understanding of service procurement such as HVAC, preventative maintenance programs, and project-based delivery. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, self-motivated problem solver who is eager to step in and improve existing processes, including bringing documentation such as Certificates of Insurance (COIs) up to date to mitigate risk. They will have at least 5+ years of experience running RFPs—preferably for large-scale, multi-million-dollar engagements—and will be comfortable independently managing the full procurement lifecycle. Strong analytical and organizational skills are required, including the ability to evaluate spend against budget, track supplier performance, and maintain contract compliance. Proficiency in Excel and Smartsheet tools is expected. This role will suit someone who is highly driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, client-facing environment while supporting ongoing operational improvements and continuous procurement optimization.
