Category Manager - Office Organization/Lift-up Fittings

Requirements/Responsibilities:

Support business plans for exceptional growth of this established segment of business Collaborate with customers and Sales to identify design and application trends with innovative solutions Be active in association and franchise trade shows and events Work closely with Business Development to support their product and program needs Strong analytical, technical and financial skills Utilize negotiating skills and costing expertise to ensure quality/cost, and deliver maximum bottom-line impact Ensure product availability by communicating regularly with procurement planning members about lead times and customer specific demands Maintain detailed knowledge of inventory levels to assist during product life cycle transitions Identify and manage key suppliers for components Self-motivated leader and team player Define and manage project schedules for all phases of new product introduction Communicate product change notifications both internally and externally Collaborate with the Marketing department to develop content and implement product specifications, videos, e-Mail blasts, social media posts, website information, installation manuals, and other documentation Consult the training department in developing and creating content for new and existing products. Continually analyze market data from industry sources to measure our competitive position and product success and maintain a database of competitive products

Education/Skills:

4-year degree Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook Knowledge of SAP preferred Looking for a Category Management leader in Office Organization/Lift-up Fittings to take over the established category within Hafele America. Position requires deep market involvement and collaboration with customers and Sales to help drive innovative products and programs. Deep analytical and administrative skills are needed to drive proper forecasting and inventory levels as well as product life cycle management.

$82,412.00 - $90,000.00 per year
